A glamorous speakeasy bar in a part of London previously famed as the stomping ground of L’Equipe Anglais. The concept is based around a lifestyle of choice, much more than just a club. The Rose building will incorporate; a flower shop on ground level, a chic upmarket 300 capacity nightclub in the basement, industrial luxe NY style restaurant lounge on the 1st floor and a 2,000 sq ft roof terrace. First phase club opening 28th November 2011.



The club has been designed by Robert Angell Design Studio with a vision of a classical music/jewelry box featuring chic mirrored finishes with brass angled detail accompanied by the screw detail inspiration from the Cartier “Love” bangle which will set the look apart from others.



As the brainchild of Nick House and Piers Adam there will always be a sense of humour and theatre in the concept.



A classical twist will be added to Rose, trained choreographed ballerinas will be warming up on the bar and performing to live opera singers and string quartets, prepare to see something very new!



Award winning cocktail mixologist Christian Ozzati is the creator of the drinks list and head bar manager. His magic will include luxe hexagonal jewelry box design shared drinks with oversized Monopoly piece drinking vessels. In addition, the Ciroc punch Music Box requires more imagination.



The club will have a real local / neighborhood vibe, well priced drinks and super friendly service by a female team.

The regeneration of Piccadilly is apace with the renaissance of one of Europe’s premier and exciting locations for dining and night life. This continues with the opening of the stunning Dstrkt restaurant and bar, set to take its place amongst London’s night life crown jewels of the W hotel, the Mirage Casino and the soon to open Café Royal.



George Yaneff (top American chef, formerly at the Bazaar Restaurant by José Andrés, SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills) along with his team, will preside over the elegant and glamourous restaurant which will awe even the most discerning gourmands with its all-organic blend of Continental cuisines. Mahiki officially opened on November 15th and the launch party was hosted by Elizabeth Saltzman of Vanity Fair. Some of the biggest names in town tasted our exotic new venture on 1 Dover Street, Mayfair. Sting, Bon Jovi, Dave Stewart flew the flag for the rockers as they shared a table requesting a few of their favorite tracks, Desert Island Disc style!



Party girls Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton set the dance floor alight after sinking the infamous Mahiki Treasure chest cocktail (meant for 8 to share!) in record time, Paris then insisted they play her song and cleared the floor with some one on one dirty dancing with her new best friend Lindsay.



Sharlene Spiteri, Natalie Imbruglia kept their cool as only they do best onlooking the fun. Roberto Cavalli, Tommy Hilfiger, Jade Jagger, Giles Deacon, Isabella Blow, Tamara Mellon were amongst some of the fashion cognoscenti to give the party their blessing (without entourage note.) Camilla Al Fayed, Jemima Goldsmith and a few royals will keep the society pages busy for a week or two.



So the next time you fancy dirty dancing to some desert island discs, head to Mahiki. There's no guest list and the vibe is be-free-to-be-you.

October 21st 2009 saw the long awaited return of London's most prolific luxury members club further to the closure of the original Air Street premises due to redevelopment. Moving away from Soho and embracing the elegance of Fitzrovia, Chinawhite returned to great acclaim.
